Active Chlorophyll –
Control and treated show chlorophyll levels in test waters from time-
integrated samples collected through the entire uptake and discharge.
Live Organisms >50 µm –
Significant numbers of organisms in the control water on discharge
were dead, most likely due to a significant drop in dissolved oxygen level (see values above).
While dissolved oxygen levels also decreased in the treated water during the hold time, treated
water did not reach hypoxia. The organism in the size category included: Calanoida, cyclopoida,
harpactiocoida, copepod nauplii, polychaeta, barnacle nauplii, medusa, rotifer, eggs, and large
diatoms.
