5.4.6. Treatment Screen
The Treatment Screen communicates information between the IMAC System and the subject
ballast treatment system. Both the IMAC System’s electrical and software interfaces are
configurable to accommodate any treatment system. Electrically, the interface between the
IMAC and the treatment system consists of the following Inputs/Outputs (I/O):
•
Three (3) each momentary output commands from IMAC to the treatment system. These
outputs triggered by three ‘Treatment System Command’ buttons on the Treatment
Screen. Buttons on the Treatment Screen allow users to control functions of the
treatment system through momentary contacts of relays located in the ballast treatment
interface enclosure
•
Six (6) each digital inputs from the treatment system to IMAC
•
Two (2) each analog outputs from IMAC to the treatment system representing system
flow at the discharge of ballast pump #1 and ballast pump #2
•
Two (2) each analog inputs from the treatment system to IMAC
